WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

Am sharing to you a story that I have read a million times and it continues to touch and melt my heart. Though the story never really happened to me in real life but as I kept on reading the story it made a mark in my mind that God always works and touches our lives in any way that sometime we it Blessings. Hope you’ll like the story and will touch your hearts as it touches mine. God Bless to all.

"WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but

even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled

up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still

sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to

help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look

safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He

knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car

where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad

enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack,

skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the

tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and

began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was

only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to

her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she

owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already

imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not

stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job

to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were

plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole

life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she

saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance

they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.'

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold

and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing

into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab

a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of

her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old

gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over

and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile,

one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The

lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she

never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady

wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger.

Then she remembered Bryan .

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill.

The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but

the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time

the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be.

Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You

don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me

out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here

is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.'

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.

Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to

serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she

got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the

money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how

much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was

going to be hard.

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to

her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's

going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

There is an old saying 'What goes around comes around. Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know

they are always there.

Faith and trials

The book of Job

Job 1: 1-3, 6-22

  • Verse 1-3

1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters, 3 and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.

  • Verse 6-22

6 One day the angels [a] came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan [b] also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"

Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."

8 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."

9 "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. 10 "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face."

12 The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."

Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

13 One day when Job's sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 14 a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby, 15 and the Sabeans attacked and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

16 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The fire of God fell from the sky and burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

17 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, "Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:

"Naked I came from my mother's womb,

and naked I will depart. [c]

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;

may the name of the LORD be praised."

22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

I remember the book of Job very much. Our pastor gave a sermon about this book last Sunday. I’ve heard about job and how rich he was but I never really mind his story because I was thinking he was just another man in the Bible and yet I was wrong.

If you will read the verses 1-3, he was describe as the greatest man among all people of the east. So in today’s story he can be compared as the president of the country, a business tycoon maybe or perhaps a Hollywood celebrity with a billion dollar talent fee. How promising it could be to have such life. I myself would like to have the kind of life Job has. I know all of us do. But if you read the next verse: verse 6-22, Job’s first test. Verse 13-22; Job suddenly lost everything he owns from his livestock to his children. He lost them all and what he did was tore his clothes and shaved his head and he fell to the ground and worshiped God.

I admire Jobs faith to God. Job became my inspiration ever since I’ve read the book of Job. I would want to be as strong as him even if all people that surround him tell him to blame God. I don’t want to blame God myself either since I know He will not leave me nor forsake me. He is my God and my only God. I want to have the courage and integrity Job has. Job is my inspiration of becoming faithful servant to God. I know that trials will just come and go and if I remain faithful to the LORD he will never let me down. God allows trails to come into my life every now and then but I know that it’s only a test for me to strengthen my faith to LORD.

I may not have lost everything in one night but I still thank God for everything he did to my life whether a test for my faith or a blessing.

I pray that may all readers be blessed of this article. God Bless to all.

My Sincerest Thanks

Before I start my blog posts, I just want to use this opportunity to thank everyone. I’d like to thank my husband for the support he gave me and for allowing me to post what is going on with our daily lives. I would like to thank my baby for being my inspiration. Actually both my baby and my husband are my inspiration. Without them, my life won’t be meaningful and beautiful at all. They are the sunshine of my life and in times of darkness they glow.

And also I’d like to thank my Father, brothers, sister and my step mom. They have given me their full support ever since even though how rebellious I was but they showed me their unconditional love. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. There were times that I have hurt them and disobeyed them specially my father but he still showed me his unconditional support and love. I know am not the perfect daughter or sister and I know that I have committed a lot of mistakes and I know I have disobeyed all of your advise but I still want to thank you for all that you have done for me. I will not become who I am right now without my family. And of course, I want to apologize for all my short coming and for disobeying their advice. I pray that all will work well for each of our family’s now. I miss you all and I love you all.

I want to thank also for mother, my biological mother. Without her I won’t be a strong person. Anyway, I want to thank you “Nanay” for being the best “NANAY”. You have thought me a lot of things and I’m forever grateful for that. I hope you forgive me for all the pains and heartaches I have given you. I know that you are sitting beside our Creator and Savior now enjoying the view from above and I’ll see you soon as soon as God needs me beside him. For now I will raise my baby according to how you raised me. I love you so much “nanay”. I missed you so much and thank you for everything. I’ll see you in heaven Nay. Ü

I’d like to extend my gratitude also to my in laws. Thanks you to my father in law, for being a father in the absence of my “Tatay”. Thank you so much. My Sisters in law, for being the big sisters I never had. You thought me how to become a big sister for my little sister. To my brother in law, thank you also for the support and kindness you showed us. My in laws became my family here in the absence of my family. They showed how welcome I am in there family and am grateful to them for what they have done. They have accepted me with all of there hearts. They’re the kindest family I know here. I thank you all for the acceptance.

I would like also to thank my friends and co workers. I cannot

enumerate all of you guys for there are a lot of you but I know you know who you are. Thanks you all for being a true friend and for those who are not true at all, I still thank you. May our friendship last and may it be added with new ones. I would like to thank also my co worker and my mentors for without them I won’t survive from my current job. I have learned a lot from you guys. Thank you for the encouragement and for uplifting me. Again, thank you all.

And most importantly, I’d like to thank our Almighty God for all the blessings He gave me. Without God, I’m nothing. I want to thank God for the gift of life, for showing me how beautiful and wonderful life is with His presence. I am so blessed for God has never left my side. I thank God for the gift of forgiveness and for forgiving my sins and my short comings. Words are not enough on how thankful and grateful I am to you God. I pray that you will continue to bless me, my entire family and my Friends. May You use these blog site to extend you ministry to spread the good news of your Salvation. Thank you for the knowledge and wisdom you have given me. I thank you so much Lord God. I give back to you all the Glory and Honor
